UConn’s Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) students come from varied academic backgrounds. Some of our entering students have been away from the classroom for several years while others have only recently completed college courses.
A maximum of 90 transfer credits may be applied to your degree requirements. Prior to applying you will meet with an Academic Advisor who can review your transcripts and estimate how your previous credits are likely to transfer into your program.
Transfer course equivalencies from other Connecticut colleges and universities are listed on the Transfer Equivalency Page.
